A woman was killed early Thursday when she was hit by a car in Landover.
Prince George’s County police said the accident happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. on the 7600 block of Landover Road.
The woman was unconscious in the roadway when officers arrived. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene. The circumstances of the incident are still under investigation. The woman’s name was not released.
