Donald Trump Jr. rips New York City play that appears to depict his father’s assassination

This year’s “Shakespeare in the Park” play in New York City appears to depict the assassination of President Trump, though the play is titled “Julius Caesar.”

The protagonist in the play wears his blondish hair similar to Trump’s and the protagonist’s wife has a Slavic accent, according to reports.

The Trump lookalike is wounded by women and minorities.

The Public Theatre’s website describes the play as being about “how fragile democracy is.”

Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter in response to the play to ask how much of the “art” was “funded by taxpayers.”

“Serious question,” he asked. “When does ‘art’ become political speech & does that change things?”

According to the theater’s website, it is heavily reliant on individual donors.
