A motorcyclist was killed Friday evening in a traffic crash on Route 50 in Arlington.
Arlington County police said a vehicle collided with the motorcycle at the intersection of Route 50 and Irving Street at about 9 p.m. Police said the driver of vehicle remained at the scene of the crash.
The man driving the motorcycle was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name was not released Saturday morning because his family had not been notified.
