Vice President Joe Biden said Tuesday that Donald Trump’s claim that his lewd comments about women are just “locker room talk” is an insult to athletes.
“That’s not true,” Biden said about the banter he used to hear and say in the locker room when he was a high school and college athlete.
“The point I was making is he’s trying to dumb down, he’s insulting … the people who play ball,” and come from neighborhoods like the one in which Biden grew up in Scranton, Pa.
Biden said that if “one of the guys said ‘this is what I’m going to do because I’m the star half-back or quarterback, I’m the boss,’ and my sister and her girlfriends were out there, I would take the guy behind the gym,” Biden reiterated. “This is just completely unacceptable behavior, period.”
It’s the second time in the last few days Biden said he wanted to take people like Trump behind the gym, presumably to beat him up.
