Pro-Clinton super PAC ad featuring Reagan in battleground states

A major super PAC supporting Hillary Clinton will run a new ad featuring Ronald Reagan to go after Donald Trump in battleground states.

Priorities USA unveiled an ad titled “Then and Now” on Tuesday that contrasts the language of President Reagan and GOP nominee Trump.

“While the two parties have often disagreed, the back and forth between Democrats and President Reagan paled in comparison to the heated, dangerous and nasty rhetoric repeatedly spewed by Trump at his events,” said Justin Barasky, Priorities USA communications director.

“The next leader of the free world shouldn’t be someone who regularly yearns for a time when we met our problems with violence and jokes about gun violence, and that’s yet another reason Donald Trump is unfit to be president of the United States.”

Under one month after Priorities USA confidently declared its intention to pull its ads off the air in Pennsylvania, the group is set to air the “Then and Now” ad in the Keystone State. The new ad will also be included in a multi-million dollar ad buy in Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Ohio.
