America’s emcee Donald Trump roasted celebrities saying they wanted to leave the United States if he’s elected president Tuesday morning, calling their hypothetical departure a “great thing for our country.”
First up was Girls star Lena Dunham, who Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy quoted to Trump saying she’d move to Vancouver if the New York businessman became commander in chief.
“She’s a B actor, and has no, you know, mojo,” Trump said by phone. “I heard Whoopi Goldberg said that, too. That would be a great, great thing for our country if she got out.”
Doocy then pointed out other celebrities who have said something similar, including Rosie O’Donnell, with whom Trump has nastily feuded for years.
“We’ll get rid of Rosie? Oh, I love it. Well now I have to get elected. Now I have to get elected, because I’ll be doing a great service to our country. I have to. Now it’s much more important. In fact, I’ll immediately get off this call and start campaigning right now.”
