Fairfax County has canceled school on Friday thanks to these chunks of frozen water falling from the sky that some call “snow.” It’s the first area school district to pull the trigger on Friday classes, announcing Thursday afternoon that classes were a no-go but that offices, which were closed Thursday, would re-open.
