Last week?s question: Do you think that once Baltimore?s new Convention Center Hotel is complete that the city will attract more national convention business?

» David Callahan writes: Sure it will. The question is whether Baltimore will gain enough to justify the substantial expense. That is far from certain and I doubt anyone truly knows how to calculate those odds. At this point, the only guaranteed winners from the project are some of the labor unions.
