District police say a man has been arrested in connection with a 2007 shooting death in Southeast Washington.
Paul H. Johnson, 27, is charged with first-degree murder while armed in the March 14, 2007, slaying of 39-year-old Gregory L. Edwards.
Edwards was found shot near 15th Street and Congress Place SE at about 1 a.m., according to D.C. police. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said Johnson was arrested this Wednesday afternoon.
