Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer tied the knot at a secret wedding ceremony earlier this week, ET reported late Wednesday.
“Life is full of ups and downs but in the end, you’ll end up where you’re supposed to be,” Palin and Meyer said in a joint statement. “We are so happy to share with loved ones the wonderful news that we got married! Hard work and God’s grace are the foundation of our new life together, and with the love and support of our family we know we can get through anything.”
The 25-year-old daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Medal of Honor recipient Marine snapped a picture while on their honeymoon in a tropical-looking place Tuesday.
Instagram and Facebook users immediately spotted a double band on Palin’s ring finger, prompting a full-blown investigation into the photo by the entertainment media.
The two got engaged in March 2015, but called off the wedding one month later. They later reunited, but were known for their on-again, off-again relationship.
The couple has had one child together, a five-month-old daughter, Sailor Grace, as well as a seven-year-old son, Tripp, from Palin’s previous relationship with Levi Johnston.
