On Thursday, Bernie Sanders released a note from his doctor that attested to his good health.
Sanders’s doctor lists his medical ailments over the years, including “a right true vocal cord cyst excision.” One cause of vocal cord cysts is yelling—something for which Sanders is well-known.
The note did not specify the exact cause of the cysts and did not caution Sanders against yelling.
