North Korea fires ‘unidentified projectile,’ reports say

North Korea may have fired short-range missiles Saturday morning local time after weeks of no activity, the South Korean Yonhap News Agency reported.

The country’s Joint Chiefs of Staff confirmed that Pyongyang launched “unidentified projectiles” from the eastern province of Gangwon and they flew approximately 150 miles before landing in the East Sea.
