A business owner in Charles Village shot a man Wednesday afternoon who was attempting to rob the business for the second time, Baltimore police said.
At 1:40 p.m. a robber entered the St. Paul Cleaners at 3120 St. Paul St. armed with a knife, said spokesman Agent Donny Moses.
“This is the second time he tried to rob this cleaner,” Moses said.
This time, the owner of the business was armed with a gun and shot the would-be robber in the hip, arm and hand, Moses said.
The suspect was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he is expected to survive. He will be charged upon release from the hospital, Moses said.
