A new mobile food pantry truck donated to the Capital Area Food Bank will provide an additional 200,000 meals each month to D.C. communities suffering from hunger. The $90,000 pantry, to debut in Ward 8 on Wednesday, is a gift from the Walmart Foundation through Feeding America, a hunger-relief charity that operates the nation’s leading food bank network.
