John Stamos and Vanessa Williams host the 40th-anniversary edition of A Capitol Fourth on Saturday to celebrate Independence Day.
The event, which started at 8 p.m. ET, features musical performances and fireworks in Washington, D.C., and is being broadcast on PBS.
President Trump participated in a “Salute to America” event at the White House earlier in the evening.
