Clinton blasts GOP debaters for ‘Islamaphobia’

Hillary Clinton lashed out at Republicans’ foreign policy positions Thursday during the sixth GOP debate, blasting supporters with emails and tweets that highlighted her own policies over those of her potential presidential rivals.

One email to supporters detailed “GOP bluster and bigotry” on the fight against the Islamic State. Another touted her record of “smart power and hard-nosed diplomacy” as secretary of State.

As Republican candidates debated the merits of Donald Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the country on a temporary basis, Clinton repeated her frequent argument that her political opponents have resorted to racism to deal with the threat of terrorism.

Clinton’s campaign also filled supporters’ inboxes with emails about gun safety and her economic plan as those issues surfaced in the GOP debate Thursday, arguing in one message that “every Republican on stage would enact huge tax cuts for the rich.”
