Fox to Use Drone in U.S. Open Coverage

Fox will be using a drone and other high-tech means to cover the U.S. Open golf tournament. The Fox News Channel reports:

Fox “will have 118 cameras on the course, the most ever, including one on a remote control car that will give the feel of walking the course with the golfers. They will have 200 microphones to let fans hear the action, all the cups will have mics. And a drone will gives viewers a golf-ball’s view of the Chambers Bay Golf Course,” reports the Fox News Channel.
