See who is on Donald Trump’s California pledged delegates list

The Donald Trump campaign has named his pledged California delegates to the GOP convention — and it includes some notable names.

The list, which was released by Secretary of State Alex Padilla’s office Monday night, includes important Republican leaders from California, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Rep. Darrell Issa.

Trump also has the backing of Harmeet Dhillon, the vice chairwoman of the California Republican Party; state Sen. Joel Anderson, R-Alpine; Senate Minority Leader Jean Fuller, R-Bakersfield; and political consultant Charles Moran, the former chairman of the California chapter of the Log Cabin Republicans.

Former Rep. Doug Ose, congressional hopeful Elizabeth Emken and communications consultant Dennis Revell, a son-in-law of Ronald Reagan, also are on the list.

Billionaire Peter Thiel — the PayPal co-founder — and conservative leader David Horowitz round out the list as the most notable names.

Trump, the presumed Republican nominee, will be awarded three delegates for each of California’s 53 congressional districts that he wins.

California’s 172 delegates are doled out based on which candidate wins in each district. An additional 13 go to the statewide winner.

“We believe that our delegation represents the economic and grassroots community diversity of California,” Tim Clark, Trump’s California strategist, said. “We feel very good about it.”

Ted Cruz, who dropped out of the race last week, also submitted a list of delegates.

California’s GOP primary is June 7.
