President Trump restated his view Tuesday evening that law enforcement’s swift efforts to stop the gunman who opened fire on concertgoers in Las Vegas over the weekend was a “miracle,” after he faced Internet and media backlash for using that word earlier in the day.
“It is a ‘miracle’ how fast the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police were able to find the demented shooter and stop him from even more killing!” Trump tweeted.

After being asked about gun reform Tuesday morning, Trump said: “I do have to say, how quickly the police department was able to get in was really very much of a miracle. They’ve done an amazing job.”
Several media outlets published articles that focused on his “miracle” comment, and subsequently was subject to intense backlash on social media for what they viewed as a poor choice of wording.
Only an idiot like Donald J Trump could call a mass killing w 59 dead people a “miracle.” Not even goddamned Bush was that dumb.

Trump getting attacked for calling L.V. shooting a miracle. He meant the response. Liberals confused, not used to police being praised.
