President Trump said Russian President Vladimir Putin once bragged about having the “most beautiful hookers in the world,” according to one of the newly released memos written by former FBI director James Comey.
In the memo, Trump repeatedly denied the infamous “golden shower” allegations, a claim from the unverified Trump dossier that he was explicitly involved with Russian prostitutes during a trip to Moscow. But Comey notes Trump said Putin once bragged about his country’s prostitutes.
“The President said ‘the hookers thing’ is nonsense but that Putin had told him ‘we have some of the most beautiful hookers in the world,’” Comey recalled, explaining that Trump did not clarify when he had this conversation.
Comey also said the allegations had bothered the president for potentially giving his wife, first lady Melania Trump, any doubts to his fidelity.
The highly anticipated memos were leaked Thursday evening after they were delivered by the Justice Department to Congress and obtained by the Washington Examiner.
