Thursday’s terror attack in Paris, which left one police officer dead and another injured, will “probably help” France’s right-wing presidential candidate Marine Le Pen, President Trump said Friday.
Speaking to the Associated Press, Trump declined to go so far as to endorse Le Pen, with whom he shares many of the same views on issues like immigration. But he did say she is the “strongest on borders, and she’s the strongest on what’s been going on in France.”
