President Trump played golf with former NFL quarterback Brett Favre on Saturday.
The White House shared a photo of the pair, dressed in golf attire, posing for the camera at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Favre, 50, is a Hall of Fame quarterback who played most of his professional career with the Green Bay Packers and won the Super Bowl with the team in January 1997.
He recently made news comparing former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick to Pat Tillman, an NFL player who enlisted in the Army after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and died in combat in 2004. Favre told TMZ that both will attain “hero status.”

Kaepernick, who was a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, inspired demonstrations across the NFL and other professional sports leagues when he began kneeling during the national anthem in 2016 to protest the treatment of minorities and police brutality.
Trump has been a vocal critic of the protests during the national anthem, but he said in June that he is not opposed to Kaepernick returning to the NFL.
