On Monday, Bill Kristol asked why Donald Trump can’t be “dumped from the ticket.”
“This is just a failure of nerve on the part of leading Republicans here,” Kristol said.
Kristol, who has known Mike Pence for a long time, added he feels “sick” seeing the Republican vice presidential nominee continuing to stand by Trump.
“Pence is humiliating himself,” he said. “And the Republican leaders are humiliating themselves in the effort to—what? To do what?”
