Cameron dodges Donald Trump question

British Prime Minister David Cameron on Friday dodged a question about what he thinks about Donald Trump and his campaign to be the next president, but said he’ll be amazed at anyone who survives the grueling primary process and the general election.

“I’ve made some comments in recent weeks and months,” Cameron said in a briefing with Obama. “I don’t think now is a moment to add to them or subtract from them.”

“As a prime minister who’s been through two general elections … you always look on in the U.S. elections in awe of the scale of the process and the length of the process,” he added. “And I marvel at anyone who’s left standing at the end of it.”

“Fortunately, we’re term limited,” Obama said in reply. “So I too can look in awe at the process.”
