A New York City family reunited with the police officers who resuscitated their 5-month-old son in Brooklyn in a video Monday.
The officers were investigating a burglary on Aug. 5 when they came across Sean Echevarria holding his unconscious son, Zayn.

“The officers immediately sprung into action and began to render aid to the infant until further medical assistance arrived,” City of New York Police Department Chief of Department Rodney Harrison tweeted earlier in August. “These officer’s actions helped save the infant’s life and he has made a full recovery. Keep up the excellent work and stay safe!”
The officers were praised by the NYPD’s executives, and Zayn has made a full recovery.
“We’re super grateful that we ran into you guys when we did and that we were able to save this little kid’s life,” Sean Echevarria said in the video. “Thanks to you guys — like we, we really lucked out — we really were blessed by God in that moment.”

Chief of the Patrol Bureau Juanita Holmes credited the officers’ training for helping save the little boy.
