Billy Bush is no longer the host of NBC’s “Today” show, NBC announced late Monday.
Bush, who has worked with NBC for years, was recently brought on to host in the 9 a.m. EST show. But his departure from the network morning show comes weeks after an “Access Hollywood” hot mic caught him and Republican nominee Donald Trump in a lewd conversation about women.
In the 2005 tape, Bush laughed along with Trump and did not seek to intervene and stop the billionaire businessman from talking further about his treatment of women.
Bush and NBC reportedly reached a settlement last week.
