Celia Pearson, an Annapolis-based artist known for her elegant photographs, will exhibit her new body of work Sept. 14-29 at the Carla Massoni Gallery at 203 High St. in Chestertown on the Eastern Shore.
Her exhibit, LifeLines, opens with a cocktail reception on Friday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. An open house is planned for Sept. 15, with a talk by the artist at noon.
Also featured at the gallery are vessels created especially for the LifeLines exhibit by sculptors Marilee Schumann, Joe Dickey, Claire McArdle and Yukiko Yamanaka. The artists will donate a portion of the proceeds from the exhibit to Living Out Loud, a program adopted by the national nonprofit organization Speaking Out About Rape Inc.
