Odenton man struck, killed by suspected drunken driver

An Odenton man was killed Wednesday when an allegedly intoxicated driver struck him as he put gas into his car, according to Howard police.

Luther Beamer III, 23, ran out of gas in his 2002 GMC Sierra on the right-hand shoulder of Route 32 near Deer Hill Road at the Carroll line near Sykesville, police said.
