Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says he isn’t going to watch former special counsel Robert Mueller’s much-anticipated testimony before two House panels.
“No, I don’t intend to be watching,” the Kentucky Republican said Tuesday, when asked if he plans to tune in.
Mueller is slated to testify before both the House Judiciary Committee and the Intelligence Committee Wednesday about his 448-page report into alleged collusion between the Trump 2016 campaign and the Russians.
McConnell said he’s already heard from Mueller through the report, which was released publicly in redacted form in April.
“We’ve already heard from him,” McConnell said.
“I don’t know how many times we want to see this movie again. I think the American people have moved past this.”
