Jason Chaffetz to resign at the end of June

House Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, announced Thursday that he would resign his seat in Congress at the end of June.

In a letter to his constituents, Chaffetz said he sent a letter to Utah Gov. Gary Herbert indicating his intention to leave office on June 30.
