Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee took a jab at House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Saturday by suggesting that her campaign committee is made up of gang members.
Huckabee tweeted a picture of alleged gang members covered in tattoos and displaying gang signs with the caption: “Nancy Pelosi introduces her campaign committee for the take back of the House.”

The picture appears to be a reference to the international crime organization, MS-13, which is largely centered in Central America. President Trump and other Republicans, including Huckabee, frequently cite the gang as a reason to strengthen U.S. immigration policies.
The outspoken Republican’s tweet comes during a national debate over immigration policy which Pelosi likened any compromise with the GOP to a deal “with the devil.”
