CLEVELAND — A pro-Hillary Clinton super PAC launched a six-figure digital ad buy targeting Cleveland as Republicans hold their national convention in the city.
The online ad series, entitled “Stop Trump/Stop Hate,” accused Trump of “unsavory” relationships.
“Donald Trump praises dangerous foreign leaders like Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un, and has the support of monsters like former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke and anti-choice extremist Troy Newman — who called for killing abortion providers,” Priorities USA communications director Justin Barasky said.
“These are not the kind of people who should be associated with our next president, and is more evidence that Donald Trump is too divisive and dangerous to lead this country.”
Ads encircle the areas where Republican delegates will travel in Cleveland this week. Voters will be able to view the ads on Facebook and on Youtube.
Next week, the Democrats will meet in Philadelphia to nominate Clinton.
