Slain yoga store employee’s name released

Montgomery County police have released the name of one of the victims in a Friday night attack at a Bethesda yoga store that left one employee dead and another hospitalized.

Jayna Troxel Murray, 30, was killed in the attack that occurred around 10 p.m. Friday night at Lululemon Athletica, a yoga studio and athletic apparel store. The second victim, who was sexually assaulted then bound and left at the store, was still in the hospital as of Sunday afternoon. The 27-year-old’s name is not being released.

The two women were discovered Saturday around 8 a.m. by another female employee reporting for work. Police found the two women in the rear of the store.

The Washington Examiner previously reported that two male suspects entered the business after closing hours at 9 p.m. through the still-unlocked front door. According to police, the men demanded to know where the cash register was and assaulted the women. The surviving victim told police that the two men were wearing masks and gloves.
