Outgoing Democratic Rep. Max Rose teases bid for NYC mayor

New York Rep. Max Rose filed the necessary paperwork to run for mayor of New York City, according to records from the city’s Campaign Finance Board.

Rose, a one-time Democratic congressman who represented Staten Island, filed paperwork with the New York City Campaign Finance Board on Thursday, which will allow him time to access the city’s lavish public financing system should he choose to run.
