Michelle Wolf, comedian who called Trump the ‘dumbest president ever,’ will perform at White House Correspondents’ dinner

This year’s White House Correspondents’ Association dinner will feature a comedian who once called President Trump the “dumbest president ever.”

The WHCA announced Thursday that Michelle Wolf will headline the dinner on April 28. The comedian, who has a new Netflix show, has made several anti-Trump jokes on Twitter in the recent past.

“I think Trump might be our dumbest president ever,” she tweeted in October. “And thats including all the ones that thought leeches were medicine.”

Last August, she tweeted, “Trump has been president for 7 months and he’s *almost* developmentally on track with a 7 month old baby.”

On Trump’s daughter Ivanka, a White House adviser, Wolf tweeted last April that she “helps women about as much as an empty box of tampons.”

Trump did not attend the dinner last year and the White House has not confirmed whether he plans to do so this year.
