A Capital Fourth, for natives and tourists alike

America is celebrating its 236th birthday Wednesday, and the place to be for the Fourth of July is the nation’s capital.

From figuring out how to best travel into and out of the District, discovering a great Independence Day-themed activity to do during the daytime, and finding that perfect spot to sit and watch the fireworks above the National Mall, The Washington Examiner has compiled a list of all the best festivities and helpful tips for a fun-filled day and night in the Washington area.
