A Fort Meade woman was reunited with her cat this week after it went missing 18 months ago, Anne Arundel police said Friday.
Anne Arundel police and Animal Control officers this past week rescued the cat from a confined area in the 2000 block of Peaceful Way in Odenton.
Animal Control found on the cat a Home Again microchip that was implanted at the nearby Fort Meade Army base where the owner was stationed, police said.
Jennifer Lee Daniel was elated to be reunited with her cat, which she told police she adopted while stationed in the Persian Gulf.
