Joe Biden calls Grand Canyon ‘one of the Earth’s nine wonders’

President Joe Biden called the Grand Canyon one of the nine wonders of the world during a speech on Tuesday.

The Grand Canyon is “one of the Earth’s nine wonders, wonders of the world — literally,” Biden said. “Think of that. It’s amazing.”

The Grand Canyon is considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world, along with the Northern Lights, Paricutin, Mount Everest, the Harbor of Rio de Janeiro, Victoria Falls, and the Great Barrier Reef.

The canyon, naturally formed, is known for its massive and colorful landscape that provides “breathtaking views.”
