Vice President Mike Pence will speak at the March for Life on Friday, becoming the highest-ranking administration official to speak at the annual abortion protest.
Republican presidents including Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush have spoken remotely to the march, but this is the first time a vice president has attended. Pence is a favorite among anti-abortion activists for the moves he has made as Indiana governor and as a member of Congress.
