The South Korean military said the North Korean government has fired off two more projectiles into the East Sea on Tuesday.
The launches come shorty after the isolated nation fired more projectiles last week and after the U.S. and South Korean military started scaled-down joint military exercises, the Associated Press reported.
South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said the projectiles were launched from North Korea’s western coast and flew cross-country before crashing off the country’s eastern coast.
The North Korean Foreign Ministry had criticized the military exercises, saying it violates previous agreements with them.
“What is more serious is that the U.S. increases hostile military tension against us by deploying a large amount of latest offensive military equipment in South Korea…” the foriegn ministry said.

”If this is what they call “creative approach” and “imaginative power beyond common sense”, we will be compelled to seek a new road as we have already indicated,” the official concluded.

After last week’s launches, Trump downplayed the tests because “Chairman Kim does not want to disappoint me with a violation of trust there is far too much for North Korea to gain – the potential as a Country, under Kim Jong Un’s leadership, is unlimited.”
….Chariman Kim has a great and beautiful vision for his country, and only the United States, with me as President, can make that vision come true. He will do the right thing because he is far too smart not to, and he does not want to disappoint his friend, President Trump!
