The Democratic National Committee made the wrong decision when it decided against holding any Democratic primary debates on Fox News, according to one House Democrat.
“With all due respect to the DNC, no, I don’t think it was the right decision,” Rep. Jim Himes, D-Conn., said on CNN.
“I don’t think it was the right decision,” says Democratic Rep. @jahimes for the DNC not to hold 2020 debates on Fox.

Himes, who is one of the few Democrats to appear regularly on Fox News, said the cable channel is a “propaganda arm for the White House.”
“However, and the reason I go on Fox, is that it’s watched by millions and millions of Americans,” he said. Himes said he believes it’s best to let Fox News watchers hear from both sides, and said he thinks Democrats will have the more “appealing ideas.”
Himes said being on Fox as a Democrat can be tough, as the hosts will cut him off. But he said a presidential primary debate would be structured, and would be much harder for Fox to disrupt.
“It’s not like, you know, Sean Hannity can jump in and challenge Bernie Sanders,” he said.
