Nurses union plans White House protest over lack of protective equipment

The country’s largest nurses union is planning a demonstration outside of the White House to raise awareness for shortages of personal protective equipment.

The National Nurses Union said in a Monday press release that the protest is planned for Tuesday and will “call attention to the tens of thousands of health care workers nationwide who have become infected with COVID-19 due to lack of personal protective equipment.”
