Trump campaign to roll out mobile app

The Trump campaign will launch a mobile application in the coming weeks that will turn the president’s supporters into campaign volunteers in exchange for incentives.

Those who download the app will be able to use it to register to vote and recruit additional users, who can stay up to date on campaign happenings, according to the Washington Post. Supporters who volunteer to help the campaign, such as organizing neighborhood watch parties and getting their friends to download the app, could earn VIP seats at President Trump’s rallies.

The app’s launch coincides with the campaign’s efforts to maintain the president’s support in the states he won in 2016 while also trying to expand the electoral map.
