Texas driver dies in semitrailer accident

PAIGE, Texas (AP) — A Texas woman has died after a rock flew off of a semitrailer and through her car window during a crash.

Two cars and two semitrailers were involved in the wreck Tuesday on U.S. 290 in Paige. Bastrop County authorities tell KXAN-TV the semi carrying rocks swerved into oncoming traffic in an attempt to avoid another one that was waiting to turn. A load of large rocks spilled across the highway and struck the car.
