Frank Holmes, the CEO of U.S. Global Investors, was grilled on CNBC about his donations to the Clinton Foundation and his alleged part of the uranium scandal:
“When people finish watching this interview there going to say it wasn’t unequivocal on your part and that there wasn’t a lot of clarity,” says one of the CNBC hosts.
Holmes’s explanation is simply that he gives a lot of charity and has a lot of investments.
But as the hosts point out, the investor will not clearly say whether the charitable donations are in some way tied to the investments he has made.
