Bob Dole is well-liked in Kansas. A recent poll put his approval rating at 73 percent so it’s no wonder Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Ka., who’s locked in a tight re-election campaign, is calling on the former Kansas senator.
Roberts’ campaign released a new ad Thursday with Dole explaining why Roberts is the best choice for Kansas residents. Dole says Roberts is a ‘workhorse’ who has the best intentions for the state. He adds Roberts is a defender of Kansas jobs and national security.
Independent candidate Greg Orman is Roberts’ challenger and is surprising many with his strong campaign.
