A man was shot to death in Northwest D.C. shortly after midnight on Sunday, according to D.C. police.
Police responding to reports of a struck pedestrian at about 12:21 a.m. found a man, suffering from gunshot wounds, lying in the street in the 100 block of Irving Street NW. District fire and emergency medical services took Kevin Andre Washington, 20, of Northwest D.C. to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The death has been ruled a homicide, according to a police spokesman. Officials would not say if any suspects had been identified.
