100 new ways Trump is winning at taxes

Donald Trump will be saving a fortune in the amount of taxes he has to pay next year.

A Tuesday report by the Guardian found the New York businessman is relocating more than 100 of his trademarks to a company based in Delaware to save money.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee has previously said his goal is to “pay as little tax as possible,” which makes his decision to shift trademark ownership to DTTM Operations LLC at the National Registered Agents office in Dover, Del., understandable.

Trademarks that will benefit from the move range from Trump steaks to the Trumptini and Trump Tower to his numerous national golf courses.

The “Delaware loophole” will free the Trump Organization from having to pay taxes on royalty fees when his trademarked items are used in other states.

While it is unknown exactly how much cash it will save the multi-billionaire, his $3 billion worth of trademarked goods will feel a little lighter come next April when taxes are due.
