A woman in the upscale Baltimore neighborhood of Roland Park was forcibly raped Thursday evening during an armed home invasion, Baltimore police said.
At about 8 p.m. the woman, who police said is in her 50s, was in her kitchen in the 700 block of Colorado Avenue when two unknown suspects entered her home, according to police spokesman Sterling Clifford.
One of the suspects raped her while the other robbed the home of money and belongings, police said.
The victim has been taken to a nearby hospital for her injuries, Clifford said.
