Hillary Clinton needs a dollar. Why? Because she’s in the fight of her life to win Iowa, which will caucus on Monday, and New Hampshire.
Clinton made the pitch in an email this morning to supporters.
“If you’re on my side before the Iowa caucus, there’s one way you can show it right now: Chip in $1,” Clinton’s email reads.
“It’s not about the money, Daniel. The truth is, we are in the fight of our life to win the Iowa caucuses on Monday and the New Hampshire primary the week after that.
“And once people start caucusing and voting, it’s a full on sprint until we win the nomination.
“So more than any budget concerns or spending charts or polls that go up and down, what really matters is knowing that you’re with me from the start.
“Donate $1 before the caucuses on Monday and let me know you’re ready for whatever comes next.”
